Description
David Borowski, Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge
First elected in 2003, Judge David Borowski has seen a lot during his years on the Milwaukee County Circuit Court. After presiding over 100 homicide cases from 2011 to 2014, Borowski wrote that he had a “front row seat to the carnage being wrought in certain parts of the city of Milwaukee.” He’s also become increasingly outspoken about it, saying it’s time to “end the excuses” and demand a stop to the violence. We’ll talk with Judge Borowski about what he’s seen from the bench, and what, if anything, can be done to reduce violent crime in Milwaukee. We’ll also get his views on efforts to reduce the prison population in Wisconsin.
