He describes his corporation’s mission as “trying to make the community better than the way we found it.” Mr. Lyles manages community development investment activity for M&I, the largest bank based in Wisconsin. By strategically investing in housing and economic development projects, he seeks to revitalize economically distressed neighborhoods in Milwaukee and across the nation. Before joining M&I, Mr. Lyles was an investment banker at Robert W. Baird & Co., and the former executive director of the City of Milwaukee Election Commission. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law School.
