Description

The Lubar Center team is pleased to bring you news and insights about the newest Marquette Law School Poll.
The newest Marquette Law School Poll will focus on the nomination to fill the vacancy on the U.S. Supreme Court and the public’s reactions to the first presidential debate. Have these and other developments shifted voters’ views of the candidates or their vote choices?
We also look at reaction to extending the mask mandate in Wisconsin as COVID-19 cases have increased in the state in September and public opinion on the resumption of Big Ten football. Voters evaluate the jobs done by President Donald Trump and Governor Tony Evers in handling the pandemic, and we also ask when people think things will get back to normal.
Other topics include continued measuring of opinion on the Black Lives Matter protests and on the state and federal response to the protests.
And we look at how many people say they’ve stopped talking about politics with someone because of conflict over the election, and we compare this with past election cycles.
