Description

Santelle began his service as U.S. Attorney in January 2010, following his appointment by President Obama. He has worked for the Justice Department since 1985. In 2006-2008, he served as the Justice Department’s resident legal adviser, justice attaché, and rule of law coordinator with the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad. A former clerk for the late U.S. District Judge Robert Warren, Santelle is a 1983 graduate of the University of Chicago Law School; he received his undergraduate degree from Marquette University in 1980.
